Banks have a history of giving gifts to their best customers. So what are banks in China offering some of the wealthiest people in the world? Everything from appointments to healthcare specialists to advice on thwarting gold diggers, and even a matchmaking service for teenagers, says Want Daily viaWant China Times.

The 2013 China Private Wealth Study, published by China Merchants Bank and Bain & Company, revealed that all of China’s major banks have offered private banking services to the more than 17,000 people with at least 10 million yuan in investible assets living in the central Chinese province of Hubei.

An unidentified source at the China Construction Bank said flying clients to Yunnan to buy high-end tea or helping them secure membership to private jet clubs is not out of the ordinary. At China CITIC Bank, clients are offered exclusive golf clubs. Other banks are making plans to offer wealthy wives advice on how to keep gold diggers from their husbands.

There are plenty of services for the children of the wealthy as well – everything from a “Future Leaders Club” for toddlers to appreciate classic music to offering financial training and overseas internships to teenagers. There’s also a dating service for adolescents of the moneyed class.

Anonymous bankers say that 70 percent of their clients own private businesses. The proportion of female clients is rising, and some private banking units have more female clients than male.
